Bywgraffiad yr Awdur / Author Biography

The late John Rowlands was an alumnus of Llandovery College and Swansea University who started out in heavy civil engineering construction, becoming Assistant Chief Engineer at the Milton Keynes Development Corporation, responsible for the transport elements in the planning of the new city. He later became involved in family history research and surname studies, running summer residential courses and publishing several books on the subject with his wife.
