Some people can play the harp. Some can wrestle. Some can weave. Not many people can do all three! In Snowdonia, in the eighteenth century, lived a woman called Marged who could play the harp, wrestle, weave, as well as row boats, compose songs, make her own instruments and much else besides. Marged was a tall strong woman, who would take no nonsense from anyone.

She was so extraordinarily talented, that the writer Thomas Pennant travelled miles just to catch a glimpse of her. Marged was a tall strong woman, who would take no nonsense from anyone. But she did have a soft spot for her terrier, Ianto. Surely no one would dare to harm little Ianto? But someone did.
