There was once a beautiful princess, whose father refused to let her marry the man she loved. So she left home, set sail on a boat, and let the wind blow her wherever it chose. That is the story of Dwynwen, the patron saint of Welsh lovers, who devoted her life to helping the sick and the broken-hearted on the tiny island off the coast of Anglesey.

It’s the season of lovers – with Dwynwen, the Patron Saint of Welsh Lovers being celebrated on 25th January. This colourful book gives the whole details of the story for the children of Wales. The series is being launched at Ysgol Santes Helen, Caernarfon at 10.30 am on Friday, 22 January with a Storytelling Session at Palas Print, Caernarfon at 10.30 and 11.30 am on Saturday, 23 January.
