Bywgraffiad yr Awdur / Author Biography

Trish Sheil has always loved reading and creative writing, sharing this passion with her students as an English teacher and later as a Film Education Manager in an art-house cinema Cambridge. After moving back to North Wales, inspired by its landscape and cultural myths, she began writing this children’s book. Trish completed courses at Ty Newydd and the Golden Egg Academy, including an advanced programme in Writing for Children and Young Adults. These experiences helped shape her Middle Grade novel The Water Leaper.
