M. Wynn Thomas, FBA, FLSW, is Emeritus Professor of English, Swansea University and twice Visiting Professor at Harvard. He is the author of thirty books on Walt Whitman and the two literary cultures of Wales, including R. S. Thomas: Serial Obsessive (2013) and the award-winning The History of Wales in Twelve Poems (2017). He is the executor of R. S. Thomas s unpublished literary estate.
