Molly receives a present from her Granny who lives on the other side of the world, it's a 'Granny-in-a-Box!'. Molly loves her Granny-in-a-Box and takes her everywhere she goes, but one day the screen went blank and Granny disappeared. Molly tried ringing Granny, texting her, she even wrote her a postcard but she still didn't hear back until she hears a tappity-tapping on the door on Christmas Eve.

Malachy Doyle has over 100 children’s books published by leading English, Welsh and Irish publishers, from picture books to teenage fiction. His work has been translated into 27 languages and he is a previous winner of the Tir na n-Og Award, the Nestle Children’s Book Award, the English Association Award for Non-Fiction and many other awards in the UK and USA. Malachy is based in County Donegal, Ireland. About the illustrator: Andrew Whitson is an award-winning artist and Belfast native who likes to be called Mr. Ando! He is also the illustrator behind both the Molly and Rita series of books, as well as running his own publishing house, An tSnáthaid Mhór.
