A reasonably fit person will be able to tackle any of the routes. All the walks follow public rights of way, well established paths over commons, or Forest Enterprise tracks, and have been recently checked. Many of these walks involve walking through sections of commercial forest. These are described as they were when the routes were checked, but they may have been subsequently harvested and replanted when you visit. Similarly young trees grow into mature ones.
