In 2021, Will set the fastest known time for the Welsh 2000s, completing the route solo and self-supported in 23 days. The achievement was covered by the BBC, The Guardian, Evening Standard and The Independent. His film documenting the run - Taith Galed (A Hard Journey) – was selected for the 2023 edition of the Kendal Mountain Festival and its nationwide tour. The run marked a departure from his earlier Welsh adventures, which had mostly been undertaken at walking pace. In 2013, he became one of the first people to walk the entire perimeter of Wales following the opening of the Wales Coast Path. He later walked the Cambrian Way - for which he is now a trustee - and has also completed the Snowdonia Slate Trail, Beacons Way, Epynt Way, Glyndŵr's Way and Offa's Dyke Path (twice).
