There was then, obviously, no way of anticipating a revival of the railway, in any form, but consequent events have been little short of miraculous. Thanks to the enthusiasm, dedication and sheer hard work by members, the railway has a bright future before it once more. Since the publication of A Corris Celebration in 2009, various photographs or artefacts have emerged unexpectantly to stir the memory and kindle fresh impetus for another publication. Including anecdotes and facts about the local family affair that was the Old Corris, in his foreword, Richard Saffery says, “These gems are lovingly recalled and clearly relayed for the benefit of current and future generations of Corrisites.
